Key Responsibilities
• Work with the team to establish and implement strategic goals and objectives that expand profit opportunities and increase facility utilization;
• Create and manage an annual operating budget for the dealership; reviews figures, costs and stock to ensure budget benchmarks are met;
• Provide positive planning, deployment and management of all personnel including coaching, evaluating and training;
• Performs sales activities during busy season;
• Continue to build company image by collaborating with customers, government, community organizations, and employees;
• Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; benchmarking state-of-the-art practices; participating in professional associations
• Maintain quality service by formulating and enforcing operational policies, practices and procedures;
Ideal Qualifications
• 5 years sales management and/or operations management experience;
• Post-secondary business degree or diploma;
• Demonstrated success supervising and motivating sales & customer service staff;
• Demonstrated ability to develop and execute strategic business initiatives;
• Excellent customer service skills;
• Solid understanding of retail merchandising and inventory management;
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills;
• Previous work experience or a passion for the Marine and/or Powersports Industry would be considered an asset.
